Taraba Special Task Force Intercepts 36 bags of Charcoal in Lau

Operatives of the Taraba State Special Taskforce while in Lau Local Government Areas on a mandatory patrol ensuring that the executive order suspending mining and deforestation activities in the state by His Excellency Governor Agbu Kefas, intercepts 36 bags of charcoal.
While on the patrol, the STF operatives intercepted 36 bags of charcoal from adamant citizens of the state in jimlari, Lau LGA.
The vice chairman of the STF Major Mafindi Soje retired said it has been imperative for the committee members to react based on the order given by the chairman special taskforce committee retired General JA Faransa.
He said severally, stern warning was issued but people have decided to turn deaf ears to the executive order by Governor Agbu Kefas hence seizing the charcoals.
Major Mafindi Ishaq Soje retired said the chairman special taskforce committee Retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa said a mope up operation will soon be launched in the state to tackle those proving difficult to obey the order.
Meanwhile, the patrol is part of effort to give hope to most communities facing security threat assuring that government is working assiduously toward the plight of the people of the state calling on the people to support Governor Agbu Kefas led administration
