Governor Kefas has elevated Taraba’s status – CRCN President

The Bethel Conference in Takum experienced an atmosphere of excitement and gratitude as Governor Kefas made his highly anticipated visit to the event – symbolizing his first attendance since assuming office. This occasion also marked the Governor's fulfillment of the commitments he made to the CRCN Church during his pre-election campaign.
One of the key promises Governor Kefas delivered on was the provision of shaded tents and the construction of a main stage. The attendees of the conference felt more comfortable with these additions, contributing to the overall success of this year's event.
The theme of the gathering, “El-Gibbor,” served as a source of spiritual inspiration, reminding participants of the strength and greatness of God.
Governor Kefas' arrival was greeted with the Boys Brigade's Guard of Honour, which he inspected – as custom demands.
Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, the CRCN President, Rev.Dr. Isaiah Jerapye Magaji expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Kefas for his unwavering efforts in enhancing the profile and development of Taraba State.
Rev. Magaji commended the Governor for fulfilling his commitment to provide tents for the conference, a promise made during the political campaign. As prayers were extended for a bountiful harvest, Governor Kefas actively participated, signifying his alignment with the spiritual path of the conference.
Taking the podium, Governor Kefas emphasized the significance of the rainfall experienced during the Bethel Conference in 2024, interpreting it as a symbol of hope and prosperity for the future. He shared his personal connection to the CRCN, highlighting his family's longstanding ties to the Church. The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to principled leadership and vowed to prioritize the welfare of the people of Taraba State.
Eager to uplift the community, Governor Kefas pledged to ensure accessible education and enhanced agricultural opportunities for all residents. Emphasizing his dedication to the farmers, he guaranteed ongoing support to boost their productivity.
In addition, he announced the implementation of a comprehensive program that seeks to provide free education to all children within the state.
Concluding his address, Governor Kefas assuaged any concerns among CRCN members, reiterating his unwavering commitment to the Church's values. He promised to empower the people of Taraba State, highlighting his vision to transform their lives positively.
The Bethel Conference witnessed the esteemed presence of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, respected Senator Jimkuta, distinguished members of the State House of Assembly, dedicated commissioners, the Secretary to the Government of the State,
Barrister Chief G.T. Kataps, the Aku Uka of Wukari, Gara Donga, and other revered traditional rulers.
With Governor Kefas leading the way, Taraba State continues its journey towards progress, embracing a future of growth and development under principled leadership.
