Faransa Leads Intensive patrol to 730 Villages

The Taraba State Special Taskforce Committee Members STF on Environmental Protection Public Safety and Prohibition of Deforestation led by retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa have taken it intensified patrol (operation) to 730 village enroute Gidan Dogo village, Mutum Biyu general area Gassol Local Government Area.
The patrol is geared towards taming the excesses of deforestation across the state and enforcing the executive order of Governor Agbu Kefas suspending mining activities and deforestation in the state.
While talking to media men in the entourage of the STF, the working chairman retired General Faransa said that it has become imperative for the STF operatives in the state to extend it operation to some of these areas to enforce the executive order issued by His Excellency Governor Agbu Kefas aimed at safeguarding the environment from from those who are bent on destroying the state.
“We will not relent in our operations and the fight against illegal miners and deforestation in the state. The efforts of the governor cannot be wasted away by miscreants that have no Taraba State in their hearts. We shall get to the hard to reach areas just like what we have done today as you can see. No matter any tick forest and how farther the forest is, we have the capacity and the fire power to invade the place without any doubt”.
Retired General Faransa further added that he has full fledge passion working for the state advising any one in the acts to desist forthwith or risk being caught.
He averred that as a retired military general, he has dedicated his life to defend Nigeria, that he will do same to his own state Taraba.
He applauded Governor Agbu Kefas resilience in handling developmental affairs of Taraba State
