In a cordial meeting at her office within the Ministry of Education’s secretariat complex in Jalingo, Commissioner of Education Dr. Augustina Godwin warmly welcomed Mr. Paul Tine Maigida, the Head of Service in Taraba State.
The Head of Service had visited the ministry as part of his familiarization tour with various government departments and agencies. Accompanied by the Permanent Secretary and Directors of the Ministry, he was briefed on the ministry's mandate, activities, visions, missions, and all directorates.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Dr. Augustina congratulated Mr. Paul Tine Maigida on his appointment, highlighting the caliber of individuals required to navigate the rigorous selection process.
Assuring the Head of Service of the ministry’s unwavering support in achieving the goals set by His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Commissioner reiterated their commitment to the transformation of Taraba State.
In response, Mr. Paul Tine Maigida thanked everyone for their warm reception and encouraged upholding the integrity of the civil service for effective service delivery to the people of Taraba State, especially in the education sector. He emphasized the importance of supporting the government's free education policy to ensure a better and healthier society, stressing the need for the welfare and benefits of civil servants to be prioritized.
