And lately too, the city that was once suffering from the paralyzing impact of crisis is now jolting to new life. The governor himself has injected a new zest in both, making the town attractive and also securing it. Just as he's doing across the other local governments.
Above all, the new Wukari governor lodge at the GRA part of town is becoming symbolic of the fresh direction. A new structure build on the ruins of the former dejected house there, the architectural delight, like the Phoenix, speaks to the Renaissance and resurrection of the city.
Relatedly, better peace and unity means that prosperity can now flow in freely. No wonder a University Teaching Hospital is springing up as well as an ultra market being mulled to become the hub of the international yam market. This means more jobs for the teeming youths. All politics is local, and this governor sure understands that as the Moving Forward miracle spreads around the state like wildfires.
