The people of Goje community on Tuesday were at the Mayo Selbe residence of Hon Joseph Titus Nagombe, the commissioner, ministry of Heritage and Ecotourism to express their gratitude to Gov Kefas over CSDP projects currently ongoing in Goje and other four villages in Gashaka LGA and to also salute the Governor for the choice of Nagombe as their commissioner.
Following the report of Hon Joseph Nagombe, Commissioner, ministry of Heritage and Ecotourism of the deplorable state of class rooms in Goje and other four communities in Gashaka LGA, Gov Kefas in his effort to ensure access to quality education for all Tarabans approved the construction of class rooms in those communities with immediate alacrity to cater for the educational needs of the people in the area.
Recalled that Gov Kefas Agbu whom the Goje community christened as a “Workaholic Governor”. had earlier declared primary and secondary schools free for Taraba children and 50% deduction of tertiary institutions tuition fees.
In a turn of events, on Jan 2nd, 2024, the commissioner was Guest Speaker at CAN combined service, Mayo Selbe where he enjoined the congregants to start the new year with new ideas, develop vision and set achievable goals for the year 2024. Nagombe who took his reading from 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 noted that old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.
