BREAKING: Eight killed, dosens injured as explosion rocks Borno Community

 At least eight people have been killed by landmine explosion in Kinewba village along Ngala-Dikwa road in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.
Dozens of other people were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of the explosion which occurred on Tuesday.
Politics Nigeria reports that the landmine attack happened about 15 kilometers away from Maiduguri, the state capital.
A security source said that the two vehicles involved in the incident were damaged beyond repairs.
“The vehicles left Ngala around 900:am while the incident occurred about 15 kilometers away. Eight civilians feared dead including two children, and several others were critically wounded in the landmines blast,” he said.
A top civilian JTF source said the two vehicles, an Izuzu van and a lorry, stepped on the bomb and nearly all the passengers feared dead.
