In its second episode, “Screen Perfect,” the exciting new reality show highlighting the talents of aspiring actors and actresses, delighted viewers with a captivating journey down memory lane. Contestants on the show were challenged to recreate scenes from iconic Nollywood movies that defined the golden era of Nigerian cinema.

The episode welcomed Gloria Anozie, a distinguished veteran of Nollywood, as the celebrity guest. With a career spanning numerous movie appearances, she offered invaluable insights and acting tips to the contestants, following Segun Arinze’s appearance as a guest in the previous week.
The competition kicked off with Kenny and Cardinal, who masterfully reenacted a scene from the classic movie “Emotional Pain,” produced by Chico Ejiro in 2003. The film stars Richard Mofe Damijo (Greg) and Stella Damasus and revolves around the intricate storyline of a husband, Greg, involved with his wife’s sister in their matrimonial home. “Emotional Pain” was a hit during the era when video cassettes were the primary mode of home movie viewing.
Next, the contestants Dr. Keyz and Dammy brought the 1992 classic, “Hostages,” produced by Tade Ogidan and featuring Ebere Okaro, to life with a contemporary twist.
Momo and Michelo took the stage to reenact a scene from “100 Days in the Jungle,” a timeless Nollywood movie produced by Chico Ejiro in 2007. The movie tells the gripping tale of two brothers engaged in a bitter battle over their inheritance.
Concluding the episode, Urenna and Lucy breathed life into another scene from “Emotional Pain,” originally portrayed by Eucharia Anunobi and Stella Damasus. This intense moment sees Greg’s wife discovering her sister’s pregnancy for Greg, resulting in a dramatic confrontation that held viewers in suspense.
After the contestants’ performances were scrutinized by judges Shaffy Bello, Ninalowo Bolanle, and the esteemed veteran Ejike Asiegbu, the housemates convened for a session in the diary room to determine the weakest links among the pairs. Ultimately, Dammy and Lucy faced probation and possible eviction.
