There is No Court Judgement That bars me for 10 years- Sani Danladi
During the ministerial screening that began yesterday monday, 31st, July, 2023, Sen Sani Danladi debunked the alleged judgement of the court that bars him from ocupying any political position for the next 10 years
This issue was raised by the Senate president Godswill Akpabio, when it was Sani’s turn to be screened
The senate president made it known to the ministerial nominee that there were 3 petitions against him which centers on a court once delivering judgment against him that he can not occupy a political position for 10 years
After reading out the petition to Sani Danladi, he was asked to comment on the issue, before he takes a bow and go back to his seat
He, however, denied such claim, reiterating that there has never been any judgement of such against him
“No court has ever given any judgement against me, barring me from occupying a political position for ten years, these petitions are cooked up by my enemies and are baseless as all the records and judgement is right there before you Mr. President” He said
Sen Sani Danladi, was, however cleared, asked to take a bow and have his seat. As the constitution provides, the screening is done pending a final confirmation by the President.
