About fifty indigenes of Zing Local Government Area of Taraba State have been awarded scholarship of the sum of N30,000 each. The chairman of the council, Hon. Evangelist Davoro K Titus gwandis JP said the gesture in to support free education in the area.
He said the beneficiaries are to use the money in their advancement in education pursuit at various higher institutions of learning.
The Chairman appreciated the support of the Deputy Governor Alh Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, Speaker Rt Hon John Kizito Bonzena and Commissioner Environment and Climate change Aishatu Barde among others to the council.
Some of the beneficiaries, Ambrose Peter From Zing A Ward and Sarauniya Ambrose Soba from Monkin A Ward, appreciated the council Chairman and pledged to take their studies with all seriousness.
