Police Arrests Two KFC staff over Alleged murder of colleague

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two members of staff of Kentucky fried chicken, KFC, following the death of a staff, Anita Chiwendu in the restaurants outlet at Festac, Lagos on Friday.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the case has been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba and investigation has commenced into the matter.

The family of the victim had earlier complained that the body of the deceased had not been released to them since her death.

Speaking on this, Hundeyin says the need for an autopsy to be conducted on the deceased to ascertain the cause of death is the reason why the body has been withheld adding that the family has been properly notified.

The deceased, a twenty year old girl who had worked with the restaurant for a period of two months, allegedly slumped and died while trying to spread her clothes.
